Civilian Instructor - Krav Maga Birmingham

Grade: Graduate Level 2

Jim started his training at a young age and accumulated many years in Traditional Martial arts mainly Judo and Ju-Jitsu. He has always wanted to

get into the street application of a fighting systems rather than just an art-form.

This is when he came across Krav Maga. He started his Krav Maga training under Steve Maycock, and was impressed with its street application and no nonsense approach. After Grading to a high level as a student he was recommended for instructor training.

Jim began Krav Maga Instructor training under the tutelage of members of the

IKMF Global Instructor Team – Amnon Dharsa and Tommy Blom and successfully passed as an IKMF civilian Instructor.

He also cross trains in several other disciplines which include Boxing, Muay Thai, Silat, Eskrima, JKD, MMA and Submission Grappling

Jim is looking to help Steve expand Krav Maga Birmingham and open classes in the surrounding areas.
